Are there Excel files inside The Academy that I can download and practice with?
Yes - a lot of them. The vast majority of the courses inside The Academy have built-in Excel exercises and templates we’ll work through together in the video lessons, but one of the most valuable parts of your Break Into CRE Academy membership is the Real Estate Financial Models library. As soon as you enroll, you’ll have instant access to dozens of pre-built acquisition and development models for multifamily, office, retail, and industrial properties, equity waterfall models, and practice Excel modeling exams and case studies, so you can practice your underwriting and analysis skill sets from day one in the program.
If you release a new course, will I have access to it as part of my membership?
Yup! As an Academy member, you'll get instant access to all new course, model, and resource releases, as well as any course, model, and resource updates that are made inside the membership.
Will I receive a certificate of completion that I can share on my LinkedIn profile and with employers?
Yes! We offer certificates of completion for each individual course completed inside the program, as well as a certificate upon passing the Break Into CRE Analyst Certification Exam. Once you complete a course or pass the exam, a certificate will automatically be generated for you. Each certificate will be hosted on its own webpage and can easily be shared on LinkedIn or via email, or downloaded in PDF format.
What does the Break Into CRE Analyst Certification Exam include?
The Break Into CRE Analyst Certification Exam is a rigorous, 50-question exam which will put your abilities in real estate pro forma and development modeling, commercial real estate lease modeling, equity waterfall modeling, property valuation, and various other real estate financial analysis techniques to the test. If you're looking to land a job in commercial real estate at the analyst or associate level, this exam is a great way to prove your skill sets to employers, and is only available inside Break Into CRE Academy.
How easy is it to cancel my membership?
Very. You can cancel your membership at any time directly through your Student Dashboard. When you cancel, you'll still have access to all Break Into CRE Academy materials until the end of your billing cycle, so you don't have to worry about losing access to everything immediately when you decide it's time to leave the program.
If I choose the monthly plan, can I upgrade to the annual plan at a later date?
If you enroll in the monthly plan initially and decide you want to upgrade to an annual membership after getting started within the platform, just send us an email at support@breakintocre.com any time within 30 days of your initial enrollment with your request to upgrade, and we'll be happy to take care of this for you. Out of fairness to members who commit to the annual plan up-front in order to receive the discount, we are not able to retroactively apply past monthly payments to an annual membership upgrade after the first 30 days of a member's initial enrollment in the program.
Do you offer a free trial?
Unfortunately, we don't offer free trials. However, if you don’t feel like you’re mastering real estate financial modeling and analysis in the first 30 days of your membership, just send us an email at support@breakintocre.com and let us know. We'll refund your money, no questions asked.
What happens if you raise prices while I'm a member? Will my subscription price go up?
Nope! When you sign up, you’ll lock in that rate for as long as you’re a member. So if prices double a year from now and you sign up today, the price you pay won’t change.
