Update

To continue to improve the member experience, we launched an all-new Break Into CRE Academy platform on March 25th, 2025, which uses a different website host than our original platform.

Because our original platform will also remain active for 12 months after this date (until March 25th, 2026), the “Member Login” button on our homepage now leads to two login options based on the date your Break Into CRE Academy subscription began.

Which Platform Should I

Log Into?

If you’re a Break Into CRE Academy member and unsure whether you enrolled before or after March 25th, 2025, you can find your initial enrollment date on the purchase confirmation email you were sent after starting your current subscription.

If you’re not able to locate this or still have questions, feel free to contact us via the form at the bottom of this page, and we’ll let you know which platform you’re enrolled in.

What's New Inside The

Platform?

In addition to the same courses, financial models, resources, and Break Into CRE Analyst Certification Exam included within the original platform, the upgraded Break Into CRE Academy site now includes:

  • Personalized notes: The new platform includes a built-in note-taking feature directly within the course player. These notes are private to each user, can be added at specific timestamps within each video, and can be accessed at any time during your membership.
  • Video walkthroughs of all downloadable Excel models: All downloadable templates and modeling exam files available within our Real Estate Financial Models library now include a brief walkthrough video with instructions on how to use each file.
  • Closed captions for all course lessons: For members who learn best with text alongside video content, all course lessons within the new platform now include English closed captions.
  • Picture-in-picture player: The new platform includes picture-in-picture capabilities, so you can continue to watch course videos in the corner of your screen as you’re building out Excel models or moving to other tabs within your browser.
  • Offline access: Through the iOS app of our new Learning Management System (Teachable), you can now download course lessons on your iPhone or iPad and view these without access to the internet. Please note that offline access is available for course videos only, and downloadable files (Excel documents and PDFs) are not accessible in the mobile app.
  • Easily viewable course outlines: The new platform includes a separate outline page for each course, so you can quickly preview all lessons and sections before getting started.
  • Passwordless login options: If you’ve ever had trouble remembering your password (I’ve been there), our new platform offers a passwordless login option using email verification only.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

I'm a long-time member of the program and currently on a legacy pricing plan. Can I move to the new platform and keep my current membership rate?

If you're currently on a legacy pricing plan from an active subscription that began prior to September 22nd, 2022, we would be happy to transfer your legacy pricing to your membership on the new platform. Just fill out the form below or send us an email at support@breakintocre.com with your request, and we'll provide a unique discount code to make sure this is applied to your subscription. Please note that, depending on your location, your updated pricing may include tax on top of your original monthly or annual rate.

What will happen to the certificates I've already earned on the original platform?

We ask that all members download their certificates in PDF format before March 25th, 2026, as the web pages used to host these will no longer be available after this date.

What will happen if I stay on my current plan on the original platform until March 25th, 2026?

If you decide to continue your membership on the original Break Into CRE Academy platform, all billing, course access, and features will remain the same until March 25th, 2026. On this date, all remaining subscriptions on the original platform will be canceled, and all remaining members will lose access to the site.

If I cancel my current subscription and move to the new platform, but then decide I want to switch back to the old platform, is this possible?

If you cancel your current subscription and decide to upgrade to the new platform, you will not be able to re-enroll in the original platform as of March 25th, 2025.

Why am I being charged tax on the new platform?

Our new learning management system processes payments directly and is considered a "marketplace facilitator" in many jurisdictions, which results in tax collection and remittance obligations in some cities, states, and countries.

Where can I sign up for the new platform on your website?

The "Enroll Now" links on our Academy enrollment page now lead directly to the checkout page of the new platform, so you can create a new account and purchase your subscription the same way you initially enrolled in the program.
